    Protocol

    Specificity / Sensitivity

TGOLN2/TGN38 (E6B6A) Rabbit mAb recognizes endogenous levels of total TGOLN2/TGN38 protein.

    Species Reactivity:

    Mouse

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Gln357 of mouse TGOLN2/TGN38 protein.

    Background

TGN38 is a type I integral membrane protein, and it was the first endogenous marker identified for the trans-Golgi network (TGN). Individual TGN38 molecules circulate rapidly between the Golgi and the cell surface through endosomes by retrograde traffic (1).
