    Protocol

    Specificity / Sensitivity

MAD2L2 (F9H9U) Rabbit mAb recognizes endogenous levels of total MAD2L2 protein.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human, Mouse, Rat

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Val203 of human MAD2L2 protein.

    Background

Mitotic arrest deficient 2 like 2 (MAD2L2), also known as REV7, is a Mad family mitotic spindle assembly checkpoint protein that regulates progression into anaphase of mitosis (1), and functions in translesion DNA synthesis and DNA double-strand break (DSB) repair (2). MAD2L2 expression is high in human cancer, and expression levels are correlated with prognosis. MAD2L2 expression may predict the effectiveness of chemotherapy and PARP inhibitors, and MAD2L2 inhibitors may enhance the effects of these treatments (3).
