    Product Information

    Product Description

This Cell Signaling Technology® antibody is conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 647 fluorescent dye under optimal conditions. This antibody conjugate is expected to exhibit the same species cross-reactivity as the unconjugated CRELD1 (E1B6T) Rabbit mAb #87416.

    Product Usage Information

    Application Dilution
    Flow Cytometry (Live) 1:50

    Storage

Supplied in PBS (pH 7.2), less than 0.1% sodium azide, and 2 mg/mL BSA. Store at 4°C. Do not aliquot the antibody. Protect from light. Do not freeze.

    Protocol

    Specificity / Sensitivity

CRELD1 (E1B6T) Rabbit mAb (Alexa Fluor® 647 Conjugate) recognizes endogenous levels of total CRELD1 protein. Species reactivity for flow cytometry is human only.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human, Mouse, Rat

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the carboxy terminus of human CRELD1 protein.

    Background

Cysteine-rich with EGF-like domain protein 1 (CRELD1), also known as cirrin, is a multi-pass membrane protein in the CRELD family of ER-resident proteins (1-3). During embryonic development, CRELD1 is critical to heart development, and mutations in CRELD1 are associated with atrioventricular septal defect 2 (AVSD2), a common cardiovascular malformation (2-4). CRELD1 may also play a role in homeostasis of the immune system, as low CRELD1 expression was found to be associated with reduced T cell numbers in blood (5).
