    Product Information

    Product Description

This Cell Signaling Technology antibody is conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488 fluorescent dye under optimal conditions and tested in-house for direct flow cytometric analysis in human cells. This antibody conjugate is expected to exhibit the same species cross-reactivity as the unconjugated BATF3 (E3K5H) Rabbit mAb #16484.

    Product Usage Information

    Application Dilution
    Flow Cytometry (Fixed/Permeabilized) 1:50

    Storage

Supplied in PBS (pH 7.2), less than 0.1% sodium azide, and 2 mg/mL BSA. Store at 4°C. Do not aliquot the antibody. Protect from light. Do not freeze.

    Protocol

    Specificity / Sensitivity

BATF3 (E3K5H) Rabbit mAb (Alexa Fluor® 488 Conjugate) recognizes endogenous levels of total human BATF3 protein.

    Species Reactivity:

    Human

    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the amino terminus of human BATF3 protein.

    Background

BATF3 (Basic leucine zipper transcriptional factor ATF-like 3, p21SNFT) is a member of the basic leucine zipper family (1,2,5) which dimerizes with Jun proteins and represses activator protein-1 (AP-1) activity (1). BATF3 is required for development of conventional type 1 dendritic cells (cDC1s), which cross-present antigens in the context of MHC class I to naïve CD8+ T cells, priming them to become activated cytotoxic CD8+ T cells (2-4).
