Product Description
Normal Mouse IgG is an unconjugated mouse polyclonal antibody that is routinely used as a non-specific IgG control and works optimally with the Cell Signaling Technology® CUT&Tag protocol.
Product Usage Information
The CUT&RUN dilution was determined using CUT&RUN Assay Kit #86652. The CUT&Tag dilution was determined using CUT&Tag Assay Kit #77552.

Storage
Supplied in 10 mM sodium HEPES (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 100 µg/mL BSA, and 50% glycerol. Store at –20°C. Do not aliquot the antibody. This product is stable for 24 months when stored at –20°C.

The purified antibody is not directed against any known antigen. It was isolated from pooled mouse sera.
Background
Normal Mouse IgG is an isotype control antibody, which is used to estimate the non-specific binding of target primary antibodies due to Fc receptor binding or other protein-protein interactions. An isotype control antibody should have the same immunoglobulin type and be used at the same concentration as the test antibody.
